This market predicts the duration of the prison sentence imposed on Nicolás Maduro. The resolution will be based exclusively on the sentence handed down by the court of the jurisdiction that carries out his capture or to which he is extradited and tried in person. The result will consider the time of imprisonment defined in the initial decision of the authority holding him in custody, disregarding trials in absentia, subsequent appeals, or possible sentence reductions. For resolution purposes, if the sentence includes fractions of time (such as months or days), only the whole number of years will be considered, without rounding. If Maduro is sentenced to life imprisonment OR to a penalty without a specified numerical term of years, this market will be resolved in the highest bracket. If he is not sentenced to prison, this market will be resolved in the lowest bracket.
